The Mill Brook Watershed Association mission is to work with landowners, recreationists, business, government and residents of the Mill Brook Watershed to achieve the long-term stability and environmental health of the Mill Brook and its tributaries.
Purposes:
  • To promote protect, conserve and enhance the resource as a healthy ecosystem.
  • To identify common goals of landowners, recreationists and communities and to engage decision makers t reach these goals.
  • To inform and educate the general public, brook users and others on the importance of working together to wisely use the resource for the benefit of all.
  • To serve as a clearing house for information and ideas.
Accomplishments:

  • Erosion control Projects: Mill Brook, Spring Brook

Future:
  • Begin process of developing a watershed basin plan.
  • Conduct Watershed Survey
  • Establish Brook Monitoring Program
  • Continue to serve as a clearing house for information and ideas.
