The Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District has been offering its annual conservation plant sale for over 25 years. We are committed to offering this sale in the hopes of promoting the planting of native trees and shrubs. Furthermore, it is a fund-raiser for the District. The money that we make on the plant sale allows us to bring workshops, educational materials, and high-quality conservation programs to the people in our District.
Look for our Spring newsletter in February 2008, enclosed will be the 2008 Plant List and order form. The 2008 Plant List and 2008 order form (pdf file) are also available on our web site. See below for examples of plants we normally offer. On the order form participants can select the closest pick-up location and sign up for informative workshops held throughout the day. We are looking forward to selling another great variety of Vermont-native trees and shrubs to landowners in the Winooski River Valley . We encourage those interested in planting trees as riparian buffers, in their backyard, or to enhance wildlife and aesthetic appeal to allow us to add you to our mailing list.
