The Windham County NRCD has sponsored pond workshops since 1995 to current or potential pond owners. The 47-page manual was developed as a reference guide for farmers and other landowners.

| The Ponds Manual on planning, construction, management and maintenance was complied and produced by the Windham County NRCD in 1997 and revised in 2002. This manual is prepared to inform pond owners of some common responsibilities for pond ownership and to assist them in construction considerations, management and general maintenance.
