2006 Plant Sale Create a Habitat Program

This sale program helps to generate funds to support the District's conservation programs. The nursery items are all bare rootstock. Instructions on care will be available at pick-up. If you have any questions concerning type of soil, water needs or care for the listed species contact the Conservation District at 254-5323 Extension 104.

Orders will be taken until April 21, 2006. Order early as supplies of some plants are limited. Pick-up of stock will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on May 6th in the Natural Resources Department at the Windham Regional Career Center. The District will not be responsible for stock once it is removed from the pick-up site and reserves the right to refund money for stock that becomes unavailable. No refunds will be made on any orders not picked up by the designated date. More details:

2006 Trout Stocking Program

Orders will be taken until May 5, 2006 arrive May 12, 2006. When you stock your pond with trout your world is enriched. Summer sunsets become a time for standing at water's edge, watching the rainbows rise to a hatch of insects. Your kids can practice their casts all season long. Grandkids can peer over the edge of the rowboat, watching the trout dart away from the shadows it throws on the bottom. More details:
