FY25 Core Services One-Time Funds

Introduction and Program Goals

The State Natural Resources Conservation Council (NRCC) was appropriated $100,000 in one-time funding by
the legislature to distribute to conservation districts to meet critical one-time needs. This funding is a part of
NRCC’s FY25 Core Services agreement with the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets (VAAFM).
These funds are intended to support districts in purchasing supplies, equipment, or services that meet priority
one-time needs. NRCC will prioritize requests that better enable a district to meet legal requirements or
operational best practices.

Timeline

RFA release: January 6, 2025

Application Due Date*: January 13, 2025. 5:00 pm.

Award Announcements*: January 17, 2025

Spending authorization begins: Upon agreement signature

All projects must be completed by: June 30, 2025
