Develop a grazing plan

- Need grazing infrastructure (e.g. fence, water, animal trails) and would like to design a system that may qualify for NRCS financial assistance?
Register here for the Franklin County 2019 Grazing Plans Class. This 4-week course taught by UVM Extension’s Cheryl Cesario will cover topics including pasture nutrition and animal performance; carrying capacity, stocking rate, and density; system design and infrastructure; management to avoid overgrazing; soil, plant and animal health; recordkeeping and more.
Cost is $40 per farm and includes lunch and a copy of Sarah Flack’s book The Art and Science of Grazing.
