On July 13th, Franklin County NRCD celebrated their 80th birthday with a celebration of over 100 people gathering for food, music, local farm product raffle, and a presentation on the history and current accomplishments of the District. Celebrating current and former supervisors and staff, as well as all of the community members who partner with the District, led to a joyous evening. A timeline of past initiatives, recognition of past Outstanding Conservation Farmers, and an update on the successes and efforts of the modern team were shared, along with artwork, plaques, and photos and articles from the past 80 years.
