About Grand Isle County NRCD

Grand Isle County NRCD is pleased to announce a Request for Bid for Consulting Services to Develop a Lake and Watershed Action Plan for Keeler Bay, South Hero.

The consultant will aid the development of a lake and watershed action plan, including an assessment and accompanying project prioritization and concept design for the sub-watershed of Keeler Bay, a 172,800-acre sheltered bay northeast of South Hero, Vermont. The RFB outlines the project scope, anticipated timeline, deliverables, budget, and project team.

Vermont’s Conservation Districts are uniquely positioned to collaborate in execution of these services with their chosen consultant, providing critical local support, outreach, and technical assistance to state and local partners, relevant municipalities, lakeshore owners, agricultural landowners, and surrounding communities. The project team has experience developing, funding, coordinating, and implementing water quality projects which are central to implementing the action plan.

Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 14. We look forward to hearing from you! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
