Deicing Resources

Best Management Practices for road salt application play an important role in protecting our waterways.  Chloride levels have been increasing and Vermont’s NRCDs help to develop and implement practices to protect our natural resources while keeping our roads, sidewalks, and parking lots safe during our harsh Vermont winters.
