The Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District (WNRCD) is a non-profit organization servicing the Winooski River Watershed, Browns River, and portions of Lake Champlain's sub–watersheds, including all the land and resources within Chittenden and Washington counties and three towns in Orange County. Founded in 1940, we are dedicated to providing on-the-ground conservation assistance as well as promoting public awareness and appreciation for the value of conserving our natural resources. Click on the menu links on the left to learn more about rain barrels, rain gardens, our annual tree sale, and our many other watershed stewardship and conservation initiatives. |
